96 Tahoe Engine Replacement

Hello all.I am new to the forum and I am enjoying all the good reads and advice on the Tahoe.I recently lost my motor and was wondering if anyone out there knew how diificult it would be to change the replacement engine from the 5.7 to a 5.3? or maybe the 6.0? Thanks in advance for any info.

I think you need all hearnesses and new ECU for 5.3 ot 6.0 not sure though it might be easier to swap with rebuilt 5.7 or go with new crate HT383e that's just direct swap.
