'94 Blazer 4wd problem- need help

i own a 1994 k-Blazer 350 4wd. The 4wd actuator needed to be replaced, and the local dealer replaced it with a 2006 era new wiring harness and actuator. Whenever I hit a deep puddle or have heavy rain, the 4wd attempts to activate, eventually causing the actuator to fail. The dealer cannot find the problem. Anyone out there ever experience such an issue? thanks for any help!

Never heard of the upgrade to the 2006 version.... was it a local Chevy Dealer or just a regular shop?
