How are you guys lowering the rear 5" on your tahoe/yukon? I want to swap out my belltech coils and go lower but logic is telling me I should replace the rear control arms to adjust for the change in pinion angle. Anyone running a 5" rear coil with stock arms? I really like how low my front is and wish the rear was just an inch or so lower to match. I can buy some replacement control arms or I was thinking about building some out of DOM tubing and rubicon express superflex joints

Any help is appreciated, I need this bitch lower.

That was one of my concerns also, but as of now I'm still using stock lca's. The only thing I did was add the shorter springs and shock extention brackets. I thought I might have some issues at first with the pinion angle, but I haven't. Only thing I've noticed is that it seems like it hooks better than before, but that's a good thing.

I guess I'll have to fix my driveway because she's doing down some more next month. DJM front lcas and some 5" springs should get it down into the weeds, I can always raise it up for the winter right?

I'm going to be running the same set in the future. The DJM Calmax system w/ shocks. I've already made my mind up. Anyone know what all is in the rear end kit RK2000 from DJM? i think its just shock ext. and sway bar extensions. but not sure. thanks

i went with the belltech springs first. I got a 4" drop and wasnt happy. I installed the 5" djm springs and my rear end sits higher. The belltech is so soft of a spring that my speaker box drops the ass 1 1/2" and my boat drops it another 1". I installed the djm to go lower and it sits a inch higher than the belltech springs i like the firmness of the djm. im going to cut the spring. the belltech is a much nicer ride.
