Sup guys , just joined and in need ofvsome info . I just picked up a 1999 2dr 2wd couple months ago and shortly after a 1995 2dr 4x4 for parts ( not cause I needed it but you never know and was super cheap ). So anyway I'm looking to convert the 2wd to 6 lug and wanted to know if the 4x4 rear is a direct bolt on and if the front 4x4 knuckle and hub could work on the front . Point being I'm trying to put some newer chevy 20's or 22's on . Any info would be greatly appreciated . Please don't give me that ( it's been discussed already deal ) Im just looking for a more in-depth how to on doing the conversion and being able to use what I can from the 4x4 before I dump it . Aloha

It could be done, rear is a simple swap AFAIK, the front will have to have more work done to get the 4wd to work and the axle installed/ etc....

Could just swap the rear and get some 5lug to 6lug adapters for the front.

Sorry if I created some confusion but not trying to make it into 4x4 , if that's what you meant . I was just trying to stay away from the whole adaptor thing and also not having to go down to the parts store. Want to use what I got if at all possible . Mahalo lesterl.

Rear is easy, the front could be done if you take the outer section of cv axle and use the hubs and spindles and control arms and torsion bars and torsion crossmember.
