305/50/20 on a Tahoe 4wd?

ive got a 2001 stock height 4wd/tow package tahoe and i was gonna put American Racing Trenches on, they are 20x8.5 5.5 backspaced and with 305/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. i had someone tell me that you just have to ziptie part of the plastic fender liner back some but other than that no issues. will these work out alright? id rather not run 285/50 if i dont have to

so nobody on here has run a 305/50/20 terra grappler??????????????
