2nd row bench & 3rd row dilemma

Hi Everyone one, good site you’ve got here!
I’m finally ready to sell my 4-door sedan and upgrade to something bigger. My family has had Hoe’s for years. I like them, and I know exactly what I am looking for: a Black 04 -06 Z71, gray interior.

The problem I am running into is with the 2nd and 3rd row seating configuration. I want a bench seat in the second row and the option to have 3rd row seating. Of all the Hoe’s I have looked at and all the shopping online I have done (and it has been quite extensive), I have been unable to find a tahoe with a 2nd row bench and 3rd row seat. They either have bucket seats and a 3rd row, or a 2nd row bench and NO third row. Was a 2nd row bench and 3rd row seating even an option??

If I cannot find one locally, I have two options (as I see it) – and I am wondering if either of these are possible?

A) buy a Hoe with 2nd row bucket seats and 3rd row seats, and replace the 2nd row bucket seats with a bench seat ( bought online, ebay, or local dealer…etc.) Do the 2nd row bench seats and buckets seats use the same mounting points/system so they would be interchangeable?

B) My father's got a set of 3rd row seats for his 03' tahoe that he rarely uses. I could buy a tahoe with a 2nd row bench seat and install the 3rd row mounting points my self and "borrow" his seats when I need them. I found the thread below on doing this, but it is still questionable if it will work?

not sure how much help this is, but my 03 LT has a 2nd row bench and a 3rd row, good luck!

You just have to find one or borrow your father's. You can also look at the yukons too. I wanted a bench in the second row, Just had to do a little searching. I think the higher end models (Denali and z71) most people tend to choose bucket seats.
