I am looking into buying an 07 Tahoe and need it to be 4x4. Is it possible to put 24's and a 2/3 lowering kit on 4x4's? Anything different to look out for than the 4x2's? Thanks,

Just curious as to why would you buy a 4x4 and then lower it? Toyo and Nitto makes 4x4 tires for large diameter wheels. But as to lowering them I have no idea.

I need the 4x4, or all wheel drive option because I have a boat and I have a hard time pulling it out of the water with a 4x2.

I have a 2/3 drop on my 07 yukon xl and 24's. Just make sure when you buy your tires, get some 285, or 295. Mines are 305 and they rub in the front. Other than that, its all good. Still rides good and the 4X4 works fine.
