I have owned a few Tahoes but have been holding off on the new body style.

I always rent a car for a day before I buy to test with a couple hours in the seat. (bad back etc) So I have now rented twice but find discomfort in the seat bottom and seat Bottom bolsters. After doing some research this seems to be a common complaint where some say it is the lane change boxes in seats and others simply say bolsters are too hard.

The question is; Is there a new seat bottom, foam etc on the 2017?

Anyone have any experience?
Are lane detection still a "uncomfortable topic"?
Are seats getting anymore plush?
Are any models better than others?
Thanks

I own a 2016 Tahoe LT..Drove it to NYC and back from Miami..Had no issues with my back from the seat..Would not have known about the lane detection issue unless I knew about it..I do have a lot of back issues.

In all my other vehicles [mostly Town Cars,Grand Marquis and Crown Vics] after a hour of being on the road my back would start to bother me.

I rented a 2015 Suburban and a 2016 Tahoe before buying my 2016 Tahoe LT..Drove them both to Key West and back from Fort Lauderdale..No issues with the seat or my back on either.

With all that said I weigh 140lbs..Not sure if that had anything to do with being comfy in my seat.
