2015 Tahoe LT front driver seat bottom leather failure

Driver seat leather failure. I have a tear/rip on the drivers side bottom seat. From my understanding this is a bumper to bumper warranty claim. Can anyone verify this. I have a CPO 12/12000 warranty.

Was the rip caused by you or looks to be ripping on its own?
