Hey guys!

I just recently picked up a 2011 Tahoe. it was a border patrol vehicle before I bought it. so im pretty sure it has a special tune on it because the auto lights don't work and a few other things but that besides the point. at lower speeds it kinda lags and drives around funny. also has slower acceleration, unless you put the pedal closer to the floor, then it speeds up. its got 94k on it at the moment. getting ready to do a tune up soon. just curious if anyone else has had this problem and knew a fix. ive been looking around and cant really find a direct answer that doesn't include doing a tune and a bunch of other aftermarket stuff. its all stock to my knowledge.

any info is really appreciated!!!

I'm having the same issue, 2010 tahoe lt 5.3, almost feels like its the changing of v8 to v4 and back? Or almost like when your cat. converter is clogged, it just lags a bit and rpm's seem a little jumpy or off, now if you punch it the motor roars but seems like its not responsive?

You need to get it tuned. Contact black bear performance. I had the same complaint before they tuned it. Best 300 bucks I've ever spent.
