Both driver and passenger just quit unexpectedly. Switch lights still work like normal, all other electronics in the doors work, memory seats still work, seats just don't get hot. Did some searching but didn't find much. Doesn't look like there is a fuse specific to heated seats.

Would love any input?

Yea its in the underhood fuse block SEO B2 FUSE#37 30 AMP If thats ok it may be bad connections but there are different designs and per multiple TSBs also even if it is a blown fuse theres definitely a short somewhere causing that fuse to blow I would leave it to the professionals

Thank you for the reply. The fuse is good. Anything specific I could check before taking it to the dealer? I've read the TSB, but it seems very broad. Can't help but feel the dealer is not going to just tighten a ground wire for me, but charge me for a new control module regardless? Any threads out there I'm missing? The ones I've come across seam to be for late 99-2003 ish models.

Well like I mentioned in the post earlier theres multiple TSBs and most of them do pertain to loose connections but the connectors.. terminal numbers and type of repairs are different according to RPOs due to the different types of systems

Took it into the dealer today. They said all 4 elements are burnt out and need to be replaced - quoted $1100!?!!!? This is crazy. Does that even seem possible the could all 4 burn out at the exact same time?

Actually we have heated rear bucket seats, those don't work either, so it would be $2200 to fix. the A/C feature doesn't work either.

This just doesn't seem right that they all could that all four seats with two elements each would all burn out plus the AC seats up front stop working.

Any other thoughts or tips on this?
