2008 gauges cluster problem

hi Guys !! I am new here.. and have a problem that so far leaves me puzzled...

gauges cluster is, what appears to be, losing momentarily power and restarts. this happens only when its cold outside. after truck heats up - problem stops - usually within 5 minutes from start.

I cleaned grounding connection on the frame as suggested in some online articles. I also took out entire cluster and cleaned the back connectors.

I was reading it maybe something in ignition ? any thoughts or solutions ??:help:

How's your battery. Funny electronic things happen when the battery is suspect. Also, you may want to disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. I had an electrical gremlin and this cleared it up. It's like rebooting the cpu.

battery is only year old.. but i will try it :waytogo:
