2008 Driving/Fog Lights

Hi Guys;

I feel like this question would have been answered somewhere here before... But I just can't find it.

I'm installing a set each of Hella Fog/Driving lights on my 2008 Tahoe Police Package. (I have already installed a Warn Trans4mer Grill Guard) The truck did not come with factory fog lights (which I retrofitted). I will be activating the lights off the switch panel for the emergency lighting.

Doesn any body know what wires I need to clip off of to activate the relays? I had heard that GM switched to a system where the headlights were activated by switching grounds, as opposed to the 12v positive.

Is this true? And if so, how does that alter the appearance of the relay?

police package tahoe

I also have a police package tahoe. While I know nothing about fog lights, my tahoe does not have center console but has rear ac that blows out of floor vents. Any suggestions to change to ceiling vents?
