Searched through the site-could not find the answer- My local dealers are not qualified to give me answers for some reason- 2007 Yukon- Have 22' w/ toyo proxi-305/40 on it- don't like it- Going for more of rugged look and better handling in the snow- going down to 17" wheel - what is the biggest size I can put on without a lift or rubbing- tried the Nitto Terra Grappler-305/70 yesterday and they rubbed real bad- will 295/70 do it or 285/70- I would rather the 295/70--- Many Thanks...

I think you'll be fine as long the overall diameter is under 32-33 inches.

I run a 275/60/20 which is a 33" tire and it fits fine on my 07 Tahoe...
