I can't seem to figure out the last steps necessary to take this thing off. I've unscrewed all the bolts on top and the two near the bottom...it seems to be catching somewhere on the bottom...any ideas?

I'm not sure about Yukons but Tahoes have some clips that also hold them down along with bolts

there are 2 clips on both sides of the grill along with 4 clips on the bottom of the grill...i used a flathead screwdriver to press the clips down and once you get them all unclipped, it slides right out.

Hate to be a pain, but would there be anyway to show me where these are on a photo? Thanks!

Here is a close up of the clip if you need it...press down on the middle of the clip and it should release

Really isn't that hard, once you figure out how to to the first clip the rest is as follows.

As for the process,

if you are facing the grill and working on the left side (2) of the grill, press the middle of the clip to the left and pull the side of the grill towards you, so the clip the clip doesn't slip back in

for the right side (2) of the grill, press the middle of the clip to the right and pull the side of the grill towards you, so the clip doesn't slip back in

and for the bottom clips (4) press the middle of the clip towards the bottom and pull the side of the grill towards you, so the clip the clip doesn't slip back in

*i used a tiny flathead screwdriver to do all the work

chad, thanks for the help...you were 100% correct...after the first clip, it was pretty much smooth sailing.

I will say this...the first clip finally came through after I took the "At this point, I don't care if I break it" perspective. I guess I was just being to careful earlier.

Thanks again for the help. The grill is now taped off and the emblem has been sanded and primed....paint and clear to follow later.

I'll post pics when finished.
