I had wanted to see if I could upgrade my 2005 Tahoe 5w4 with the wiper arms from the 07+ models years. I know the mounting point where the arms bolt to the linkage is different for the 07+ model years and was wondering if anyone knows if you can use an 07 wiper transmission linkage and swap it in to my 05 to get the correct size mounting point for the newer style arms. I've looked at gm parts diagrams and the only thing different in the newer models is a couple extra screws to hold down the cowling covering the linkage/motor. The linkages appear to be the same (besides the arm attachment points) and thought maybe someone has tried or looked into this before. Any knowledge would be appreciated, thanks!
