Denali's don't get good gas mileage. Was the gas mileage not listed on the window sticker? There are several ways to improve you mpg's, but dont expect to get the fuel economy of a honda civic.

JK has a sticky on this exact subject.

Its a good read and if you stick to it you should get the best mpg's possible. Just remember, you have a 6.0L AWD fullsize SUV and you gotta pay to play! good luck.
and lets see some pics of this brand new 06 Denali.

Something isn't right here, check your maf sensor and o2 sensors because I'm pulling 400+ miles out of my denali. None of these trucks get very good mileage, but I'd take my loaded up denali with the 6.0 over any 5.3. Post up some pics of the truck, plenty of people on here with denalis and we all love em.

Omar, your location says Kuwait, is that accurate? This isn't meant as a slight, but if you're in Kuwait, isn't gasoline roughly .20/gallon for you guys over there? If so, I wouldn't be complaining about bad gas mileage!

But, as mentioned, if you read JK's post thoroughly, you should end up with a 1-2 mpg benefit, possibly more depending on your driving habit. And I'm sure we'd all like to see pictures of your new Denali! Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

There was a 2005 Escalade the other day on ebay with 26 miles on the odo. The dealership owner bought it because it wouldn't sell at the end of 2005 and he never ended up driving it. Could be a situation like that.
