2006 Rear door hatch

Hi all,

I just had my rear actuator go out on me , (Rear hatch)not even the tilt glass will open even tried my other remote but no go , i plan on going to the dealer and getting a replacement and doing the install my self since i got some free time, has anyone ever tried to install one of these.

Are you absolutely sure it's the latch. Did you use a test light to see if it's getting juice. Dont wanna see ya spend money on something ya dont need.

I have a 2001 tahoe and the rear hatch will not open when you push the button just below the window. Is it the lock cylinder? It does unlock and you can lift the latch to open the door but the glass will not open,
