I just purchased a 2005 yukon yesterday and I'm looking to do a few things to it, not all performance, but I had a question,

Did GMC make factory floormats that had YUKON stitched in them?

Another question, does the denali have projector headlights in that year or another year that would fit in a yukon?

I have no idea about the headlights, but GM didn't make Yukon or Tahoe stitched floormats, just plain carpet.

i got custom mats for my cadi that have the emblem in it. here is a site. i think you can add your own pic to it also.

here i got you started... you can choose different styles, play around with the site a bit, its preety fun.

yes, 00-06 yukon denali had factory projectors. if you want projectors, those are the ones to get. if you want halos, you can get aftermarket projectors with the halos in them.

talk to your dealer for factory ones, or any year should fit yours ok.

but for the halos you will have to order online.

Thanks for that info, i gotta take a look at the denali lights on and see which way i want to go.... because when I go in to change them, the hids are going in.. makes no sense to do it twice...

But I'll get some pics up... i just brought it home last night.... Its been 24 hours now... and first thing I gotta high speed balance my tires, 20 inch, cause on the highway coming home it had a lil roughness. But i got a few a/v ideas... want to do those hyperwhite bulbs and stuff to brighten it up... ect ect..

Nice site.... they have the chrome door handles for a good price... so i might order then from there.....

But im trying to find someone's headlight housing that is as clear as possible that I trust... im not a big fan of buying things on ebay.. but I know thats a good place to do so....

Another question...

The denali front grille, i looked and it doesnt seem like a direct swap, the lights look different also, but i wanted to do it.... If its not possible to do the denali front grille on a yukon, what options are there?

I have 3 months of warrenty left on my yukon, so I want to take advantage of it and get anything replaced/done for free that I can....

What should I do gents? Im actually taking it in for brake squeeks, but I know they are going to say something about my 20 inch wheels...

Ive never had a car with warrentee so I'm not sure exactly what falls under warrentee and what doesn't.. lol

Ya man the Denali grill is definitely the way to go! It looks so much better than the regular yukon grill. I don't believe that the denali actual grill will fit in a regular yukon. So what I did was buy an insert from my uncle. He sells aftermarket stuff like that. It is an insert that looks just like the real grill. It basically wraps over the original grill and bolts on. There are 4 screws to keep it secure and you can barely tell they're there. The only way to spot em is to be looking at it close up and from the side, and you'd have to know to be looking for them too. It is the easiest way to do it and it looks great for the cheapest price. Def. give it a go.:thumbsup:

Another question, going to be basic opinion... but...
What oil is everyone running in there trucks... especially have performance mods im sure no one is using GM standard oil.. lol

I need an oil change soon so I was wondering...

i found some sets on ebay but they all have that damn 3 led lights in them.. or they are not totally clear.. I may never find a good set...

Braking options gentlemen? Behing that I have 20 inch wheels I notice that my stoping distance is slightly far, but I dont want to do a whole big major upgrade, but I want do some better pads... and possibly better rotors... Any and all suggestions are welcome....
