2004 tahoe lt won't start, new fuel pump

i have been trying to start my tahoe, but no luck have sprayed in starter fluid and even gas into the flap of the air intake. waht to do, the car stays on for a bit with the foot to the pedal but does not keep going. sounds like the flap cuts off and a big air release hiss sound from engine before it cuts off....WHAT COULD IT BE? NEED HELP PLEASE.:peace:

Welcome to the neighborhood!

I would start with cleaning the MAF sensor and throttle body. then let us know if that works. Make sure to go to the parts store and get actual MAF sensor cleaner and throttle body cleaner.
