My sister wants to get a boat, but my dad's 4 Cylinder won't tow it..... It barely tows us inside of it 
o) So, my sister wants to get something to pull the boat. I need a first car, and we are tackling two birds with one stone. I want an SUV with a V8. But, I want to get decent gas mileage (15 Combined) and I want it to be safe. I was going to get a Trailblazer, but after hearing a friend's recent experience in a wreck with her Trailblazer, I think I want something bigger.
I found a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 4x4 w/ 147, 663K Miles. Can I expect it to be safe? Anyone have an experience with this particular model? Would this be a good first car. I read on here where some of you have 250K+ Miles on your Tahoes. I feel safer about the mileage now. I also plan on doing a little storm chasing in my first car. So, Any experience with the 4WD
