Need to replace these. They are the non electrical self adjusting type. The dealer's wanting close to $400 per shock plus labor. The independent shop that we take our vehicles to says buy them yourself and we'll install for around $100.
I've owned the Tahoe since new and it's been the best vehicle I've ever owned. Can't think of any way to improve it for my use so I'd like to keep it stock. I found some Delcos (#580-354 GM) on Amazon that I think are the right shocks at $287 each. Are these the original equipment spec shocks and is this about as good as I'll do price wise? Thanks.
