2001 Tahoe

I just purchased my 01 Tahoe. The sound system sounds horrible. The sub and rear tweets are stock and working, the doors are Alpine's, however some are funtioning and some are not. It was obviously installed by a pro. I am thinking thier may be a problem with the factory amp. Everything is wired into the stock wiring harness, and runnin to the amp ( factory ) Has anyone had this problem ? Or any suggestions ?

I just purchased mine off of Craigslist. The tweeters are actually hanging by their wires, the after market amp is dead, the Sirius receiver was taken out, there is no bass and the sound is very weak. Obviously I have my work cut out for me and I don't know where to start.

Not trying to hijack your forum, just letting you know that I feel for you and hope to fins a solution with you.
