well i have a 01 tahoe 4 wheel drive, recently it will make noise puting it in gear and then in reverse and then into park...it more like a hitting sound, well anyways i was driving it and when i slowed down the tahoe started to shake a lil like a skipping feling in it then i heard a bang in the tranny area and the tahoe stopped moving, i put it in 4 wheel and it moved about 10ft then stopped completely in drive or reverse and in 2 or 4 wheel drive, i let sit and after like a hr or so then turn on it will move like 10 ft then stop moving again, i have no idea what it might be...im thinking transfer case but i dont know...
