Hey Guys,

im looking to removal all my badges on my 2001 Tahoe LT. I just did it last night on my wife's 2007 Altima with a heat gun and dental floss with NO PROBLEMS. my question is...

are there any pins or rods that are holding on any of the badges on a 2001 Tahoe? or can i just use the same technique i used on the altima?

Same thing as the Altima, so it should be fairly easy for ya.

except them altima letters were probably pretty fresh and you were probably able to keep buffing to a minimum since there wasnt much fading..

took me like a good 30minutes to pull off my "Yukon XL" badge on the back of my Denali with a heat gun, plastic razorblades and some floss
that double tape really bonds after a while.

im going to start with the "LT" badges on the door pillar first. they look like they are attached differently. am i right with that guess?

tried the LT badges on the back door pillar, there is NO WAY you can get dental floss behind those ones. any advice?

When I did mine, I used a plastic pry tool I use for popping dashes apart and a plastic razor blade. Just kinda rock it back and forth as you progress thru the tape.

did you use any heat? ie hair dryer/heat gun? was there any "pegs" holding it on or just adhesive?

Just double sided tape. No heat. Used a little bit of goo gone and ammonia to help clean it up after all the tape was off. Was a little tacky.

Those are cheap rubbery plastic, you should be able to lift those with your fingernail, heat it or wait til it warms up, they are simple to remove.
