Im in a dilema. I have a 2001 tahoe 4wd 5.3L. I took it to get an alignment and was told i need to replace everything. I used to work for this place so I talked with one of my ex co workers and got a list of everything i need. Ball joints U & L, Tie rods I & O, Pitman arm, idler bar, and sway bar link bushings. I go to the parts store and am questioned whether my ball joints are pressed or fitted/welded. I got the ball joints seperate from the control arm. Today I rip apart the drivers side suspension and get the the ball joints and grab the c clamp press and go yard. These things aren't budging. I'm trying to find part numbers of the control arm with and without the ball joints to cross reference. Also if there are any other clues that can tell me whether these
bj's are pressed or welded?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
