About a week ago started getting the 430/420 codes randomly (inefficient catalyst?) truck ran fine (5.3) codes went away. today fired her up ran like crap misfired, and no power. let it warm up for a while ran ok....lost power on the thruway and died. waited abt 10 minutes. fired up again. died again. took to shop, same cat codes and two new ones lean condition bank one and 2. he cleared em. drove for 1/2 hour and ran fine...sat idling for 45 minutes no problems. left shop, drove about 2 miles, started losing power, popping/misfire and died. will not re-start.

Cats are not plugged, maf and iac are new... no codes stored. Any clue guys? seems to be getting fuel (according to mech) so not fuel pump.

all fluids are up, no leaks, intake good. Im hopin someone will have a common problem fix for this before i start throwing money at it...

Thanks in advance

It may be getting fuel, but is the pressure and volume enough.

The statements you made, really point to either a fuel pump or possibly an intake gasket leak, IMHO.
