2000 Tahoe power door locks

The right rear door lock operates sporadically from the driver position, and it will not lock manually. I cannot force it to lock or unlock manually depending on which position it is in. Is the problem with the lock solenoid itself? Thanks

the door lock actuator needs to be replaced it might be part of the whole door lock assy they vary year to year.
