Seeing as all my buddies are know kitty whipped and don't come fishing, hunting or camping anymore I'm trying to figure out which truck to use to save on gas. Does anyone know how far they can go on a two door Tahoe/yukon? I go my mileage calculated at around 700 km per 115 litre tank for my four door. Towing the boat or ski-doo I can get about 650 per tank down to fumes. Anyone tested there range? Mine is a 96 four door 4x4 with stock everything but tires are a little bigger at 275/70/16. Thanks.

Metric conversion.

For ease of comparison; 'sterios is getting 435 miles on a 30 gallon tank, about 14.5 m.p.g. Both 4 and 2 door tahoes use the same frame and are fairly equal in length, I believe the only difference will be the weight of the doors.

I have a 4dr as well on a '99 hoe with 265/75 tires and I get little more milage(15 mpg), but probably due to living in the flat lands of Arkansas.
