1999 Yukon Sputtering

Hello All

I ve got a 1999 Yukon denali , and my wife i where drivn today and all of sudden it started to Sputter, u would step on the Gas and it would Chug with no power , then it would go .... i brought it Home and when u give it gas quick it chugs and a little back fire that sounds like it comin from our K&N Air filter ..... Im thinkin maybe Dirty gas? or water in the lines ... it is Fricken cold Up here in Alberta Canada?

If anyone would have any idea or suggestions that would be great... i can start my list to what to go through

put some dry gas in it and see if it goes away. if it does suspect water. could also be low fuel pressure, lazy fuel pump. if you have access to a pressure gauge check fuel pressure. post findings, good luck !
