1999 Tahoe stumbles or hesitates at first acceleration.

I just bought a 99 Tahoe and it seems to stumble or do nothing when accelerating from stop or almost stopped sometimes, but it accelerates just fine at any other speeds so im pretty sure its not the cat and i dont have any codes popping up... i could put it in the shop but i just had a baby a couple days ago and im low on funds but dont want to throw parts at it. Can y'all help me please???!!!?!!?!!??!

Take out the MAF (mass air flow sensor) and clean it.

I have cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner, replaced plugs with upgrade to iridium plugs, emptied a can of intake and TB cleaner into TB with it at 2k rpm, cats arent plugged, no codes, tcc lockup solenoid operating properly. Im at a stand still. Im going to replace plug wires today to see if that helps.

Well when cleaning the MAF doesn't work them sometimes replacement is necessary?

Change the fuel filter. Mine did the same thing. I went to pass someone and it would just spit and sputter. On acceration it would take off like a rocket. After changing out the fuel filter, it ran smooth as silk.

I had changed the fuel filter as well already, but it turned out that i hadn't cleaned the MAF well enough so i took it all the way apart and used a little brush from my gun cleaning kit and a tooth brush to clean the tiny resistors in it. Reassembled and it runs like a striped ass ape now

Ok got a question, my tahoe is running fine after it sits all night, once I have used 2 or 3 times in the day it starts sputtering when I accelerate from stop, once it gets past first gear it will maintain a nice speed of about 40 or so. If i stop at a light or sign when i accelerate again it will sputter and no matter how much gas I give it, it wont kick over into second for a bit sometimes it even dies. when I get it on the highway the rpms never raise above 2000 and it will struggle to go faster than about 40 even though the speedometer reads 50 or 60. I replaced the fuel filter yesterday and added tranny fluid today? any ideas?
