Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my door looks and rear window.
None of the inside switches are working. I can't get into the rear of my hoe.
The only way to lock or unlock my truck is by using the remote.
I checked the fuses and they are fine.
My guess would be a bad relay. The Million question is where is that relay at?
Thanks for any feedback in advance.....:waytogo:

If the DL dont work from the inside but do from the remote you probably have a bad door switch....

None of the switches are working, none of the doors switches or hatch release that's on the dash.
That's why I believe it's a relay somewhere that control them or maybe a circuit board..??

Heres a lock schematic.... Looks like 4door uses Circ Breaker A and Cig Lighter fuse to work the locks, the 2 door models use Power Acc circ breaker.

Thanks lesterl,
I was going to look up the schematic tomorrow. Well I know the cig. lighter fuse is okay.
I have found that when I push the hatch button on the remote while sitting in the truck I can hear a click coming from behind the dash around where the 4X4 buttons are. So I need to lay down on the floor and look up under the dash to see if maybe there is a relay. We've had nothing but lousy weather here lately. I've heard that click 1000's of times being that I was a electric forklift road service tech for 20 years.

If the relay is clicking then the cig lighter fuse is good, the relay is more than likely good, you are missing your high current supply, check the circuit breakers....

Well I got into it today and found a loose connection from the lighter fuse panel.
Pin came out of the wire hardness, very lucky it didn't burn up. Wasn't a hard repair and lucky I found it so easily.
Thanks for the help. ;)

i'm having a similar issue. my key FOB will lock/unlock the doors but the inside switches do not operate. is the driver door lock switch a "master" switch. a friend had this problem on a different make vehicle....his "master" switch was bad. replaced it and all worked fine. this is a 3rd vehicle so is just a nagging problem, but wondered about the order of control for the switches

AFAIK according to the schematics there is no "Master" switch, that being said there is a lock/unlock relay and if the FOB's work, then the relay is good, inspect your wiring from the switches thru the connectors at the pass thru (cab side of rubber boot) to the splice point where the door lock relay is, somewhere along the line the keyless interjects the lock/ unlock signal to the relay....
