1997 Fan Blower question

I have a 1997 4x4 Tahoe 5.7L, the blower does not blow, when you rotate the fan switch the A/C orange light on the dash board go out and come back on as you turn the knob. ( is this a sympton?) I have checked all fuses, is the problem electrical, relay or resistor pack?

My 99 had the same problem with the fan. Got it looked at and the blower motor had power but would not turn on, so the blower motor needs to be replaced. As far as the lights going on and off, be sure the a/c button is not depressed, then try it, and the light should not come on. The light goes off when the fan position is in off as well just as a heads up.
