1997 Chevy Tahoe LS 4wd Auxillary cigarette lighter problem

Hi Guys:

Hopefully someone has ran into this problem. Both of my auxillary cigarette lighter modules do not work. One I blew out myself the other has never worked. Any idea? I looked in the manual but could not find a fuse specifically for those devices. My center cigarette lighter works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are talking about the 3 lighter outlet cluster on the dash (I think 97 is prob similar to 96) I had a similar problem. One of the aux plugs went out. I basically pulled it out (no easy task) and cleaned all the contact points and it has worked well ever since.
