1996 Tahoe 4x4 problem

My Tahoe wont select 4wd hi or 4wd low it has the electronic system, when I push the button for 4wd hi or low the lights flash there is some clicking noises behind the dash but no 4wd the lights flash for about 10 seconds then stop.

Any help much appreciated

Hey man,
Have you checked the fuses? I know its pretty simple but that is all that was wrong with mine. Also I know when its cold out it tends to take longer for it to engage since the actuator plunger is all vacuum.
