Its been a while guys. I have been trying to get on here for the past week or so and I've been getting a page that says the site is temporarily down. I thought this site was gone forever so I started going to chevroletforum.com and I realized how much I miss this site. So I'm glad it's back. Some of you may remember my tahoe got broken into and they took my Pioneer AVIC z3 nav. Well I'm ready to get another navigation now, except I don't want to go the aftermarket route as it seems they are easier to steal, and targeted more often.

So I found an ebay auction for what the seller claims to be a 2009 factory Navigation system compatible with an 07-09 Tahoe, with bose but no rear seat entertainment. So I have a few questions. First, is this part number compatible with my 07 LT2 tahoe with bose and no rear seat entertainment? The part number is 25894203. Second, what new features does the 09 navigation have compared with the older models? The price is 799.99 and includes everything required for install, wiring harnesses, VSS, everything. The seller claims it is a completely new item, no reprogramming necessary. I appreciate anybody who can answer my questions and shed some light on this.

Here is the seller description from EBay. Tell me what you guys think and if this truly is everything I need for install:

For sale is a 2009 factory navigation radio, GPS antenna, map disk, VSS harness, and Voice harness. This kit is complete with everything needed to install in a non-navigation vehicle- even a hookup for a backup camera installation! The VSS harness has a wire to connect to the vehicle speed sensor and an input for the addition of a backup camera (not included) to display on the nav screen if desired. The Voice harness connects to the Onstar module and enables voice activated controls while retaining the use of the Onstar system. Detailed installation instructions with pictures can be provided upon request to complete the install yourself- no need to take the vehicle to the dealership. The NAV unit is part number 25894203 (newest part number available) and has zero blemishes with the factory screen protector still in place. The unit will work in 2007-2009 Tahoes, Yukons, Suburbans, Avalanches, and Silverado/Sierra Trucks. It is completely UNLOCKED and ready to be installed without taking the vehicle to the dealership. Save the time, money and effort! The unit has BOSE and XM capability and is designed for vehicles without RSE- Rear Seat Entertainment (rear DVD screen). The unit is guaranteed to work.
