08 Tahoe NAV

I noticed this AM while driving to work that the NAV system was displaying little blue dots along my route as I drove. I went out for lunch today and while driving, I noticed they were all still there and were now displaying on my way to lunch. It's almost as "tracking" had been turned on. I have looked through the NAV manual and see no reference to this.

Has anyone seen this before or had this happen???

You have the off road mode turned on. It will leave bread crumbs with this feature on so if there are no roads you can follow your trail back.

You can turn it off under the nav menu option.

Thank You very much!!! I did turn on the Off-Road mode, but I did that about a week ago and never noticed the dots until this AM........

That is also a good note to remember in case I ever do go someone off the beaten path to turn that on!!!!
