Well, I'm going Wednesday to buy a Tahoe. Let me know what you think 07 vs. 08... I can't tell that much of a difference personally but I would like to hear from some of you that currently own them and have personal knowledge. Any thoughts would help.

If you are getting the base trim level, or the LS, there is one thing that the 08 has that I would LOVE to have. The center console on the 07 is simply a bucket in the middle of the armrest. No lid, no anything. In the 08, there is a lid with 3 cupholders instead of two. Additionally, the top of the middle seat lifts up to reveal a considerably large locking storage space. Thats about it I think. As far as LT or LTZ, I dont think there have been any changes.

thanks for the info. I was looking at the LT. Possibly the LTZ.

I'm thinking the 08 will have better resale value down the road which has me leaning 08. I'm sure I'd get a better deal on the 07 because its so close to the end of the year.

better dash illumination

The '08 has the dash lights on all the time. The 07's are hard to see in certain lighting conditions.

07 has 0% financing
08 will have more "value" than the 1 year old 07 even though both are new
