I''m sorry if this has been covered, but I looked and dont see a thread.

I have a 2007 Tahoe with stock wheels. I have removed all of the chrome markings (LTZ, Tahoe, GM, Flexfuel), removed the gold bow tie from the rear (thanks forum), and replaced the front with a billet badge (would prefer chrome, but cant find one).

I HATE the gold bow ties on the wheels...they seem to be stickers under clearcoat on plastic.

Has anyone had any luck removing them.

Thanks,

Eric

I don't know if you can remove them but you can paint them, look at the lift section of the forum, the topic beside it says "BDS 2 inch lift on" and they're is a lifted Hoe with them painted black.

Nnabow...thanks...that black tahoe is AMAZING!!!! I have the white LTZ...waaaay too much chrome and I dont think that painting the wheel bow ties white would look good...

Thanks again, I will keep trying.

Yeah your right, white bowties on the wheel would not look right, I too debadged my Hoe, I painted the front and rear bowites flat black and then took off all the TAHOE nameplate badges, but left the LT, FLEXFUEL and GM square little door badge.
