I have an 07 chevy tahoe when i drive it under 50 mph runs no problem but then i drive it on the highway and i idle the truck into an exit or even on the street it will shut off. I have to sit for 10 min and it will start up again with out a problem. I have replaced the Spark plugs, Sparkplug wires, changed the oil pressure sensor due to it not marking on the dash, oil changed, and even went as far as changeing out the fuel pump. Cleaned out the TB Im still having the same issue and im out of ideas of what else it could be

Hi...I've never posted on any website or forum in my life but felt compelled to do so to help fellow tahoe owners. My 07 tahoe had an electrical problem wherein it wouldn't start after being driven and turned off. After waiting awhile, it would start up as if nothing was wrong in the first place. VEHICLE HAD NO ELECTRICAL POWER TO ANY SYSTEM OR ACCESSORY when this problem acted up.

Symptoms of an impending episode was the radio clock time resetting itself to "12.00", a clicking sound inside passenger cabin and auto door locks locking and unlocking while driving. After replacing 2 batteries, then an alternator and the starter, problem persisted. I then replaced all ground wires and polished all body ground wire contact points...still problem persisted. Tahoe would never reproduce these electrical symptoms while at my service garage...*except this last episode, wherein my Mechanic gently manipulated the right side battery positive cable at the battery terminal and as I was cranking ignition, the electrically dead tahoe came to life!!☆PROBLEM SOLVED!☆There was no reasonable way my repair shop would have cured this nightmare until the electrical problem presented itself at their garage. I had replaced the left battery negative battery cable a week earlier after reading some suggestions online. So I would strongly suggest going ahead and replacing both battery cables 'first' before sinking in any more $$$. Hope this helps.

Gotta be some electrical ground problem...I have read so many posts from chevy truck owners having problems that mimicked mine. Strange thing was that the battery cables showed absolutely no signs of corrosion or damage and we're tight at the battery terminals and starter.

Ok...then most likely not electrical ground problem...but many owners have had the problem mine was suffering from. Best of luck in getting it fixed.
