07 Tahoe Roof Rack Install

My 07 did not come with the horizontal rails. How do you install them in the factory install side rails?

You have to remove each end cap on one end and slide the rails in. Then you reinstall the end caps.

Yep - what Tahoe07 said. You may have to "persuade" them in a bit. Really would go fast if you had one person on each side. Otherwise, you'll be going back and forth, up and down the ladder, because you want to try to inch them on a little at a time and want them to go on straight and not bind up. Still wasn't too bad doing it myself. Luckily I had two ladders. I also used a block of wood, wrapping in a towel and gently used a hammer to move mine along because it was a tight fit.
