07 Tahoe remote start? does it have one??

Hey all, new here to the forum and have a question for you guys, I just bought a 2007 Tahoe lt from a gm dealer, and when I purchased it, they told me that it would have to come back to have the remote start setup on it because it was not working at the time, the remote itself has the curved arrow on the button at the top of the remote....But when I pressed it the rear door glass unlocks??? all the other buttons on the remote functions properly except for the remote start button opening the hatch window?? this doesnt make sense to me, so my question is, in the glove box would there be a code in there that stats there is a remote start option installed on my truck? and if so what is the code number? thanks for any info.

I also just looked in the glove box for a AP8 code and I don't have it only a AP3.

Might want to check to see if you have the correct remote. For my 07 it has 6 buttons: rear glass, rear hatch, panic, remote start, lock/unlock. In order for the remote start to work, you have to press lock twice, then hold down the arrow.

I tried on mine to see if the glass would pop just by pressing the curved arrow. It does not. If you have the correct remote and tried the procedure above, then is sounds like a programming error. The dealer will get that fixed at no cost - as long as it was purchased with the 1 year CPO.
