03 ball joints

Went to go get an alignment today and the shop told me my driver side lower ball joints are starting to go out. he told me on a scale of 1-10 its at a 4. should i be concern? i can feel some little nods here and there while driving and turning but i dont know if i should go with the operation yet. and if i do, am i better off getting both driver and pass. lower ball joints replaced just to even out the score?

Boots arent ripped, but the mechanic showed me the gap in between thee boot and the nut..
