'00 Tahoe 5.3L - Power Mirror Switch

The switch on my '00 is beginning to go bad. Is there a way to dissasemble it to clean up the contacts in the switch assembly itself? I did remove it and spay some electrical contact cleaner spray on it, but that did not help.

Was wondering if anyone has done a repair their own with any success. The replacement is $72.00 from RockAuto by the way, pic attached.
