I'm having new mufflers installed. Is it a good idea to have the shop install new exhaust manifold gaskets? Or is that just wasting precious money?

Well I had a K&N intake already. It might have added a little HP but it did make a deep growl every once in a while. You are right....money is not an issue. I'd rather dump money into the Tahoe instead of giving it to the gas gods.

Would headers and true dual exhaust honestly help with fuel economy?

My engine is done in the 2-door. I want to maximize MPGs. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Gas, diesel, it doesn't matter. Money is not an issue.
