Alright cool. Just didnt want to get the remote just for the LCD screen. I mean I love having the LCD screen for my Viper cause if I think I forget to lock my car I can just look at the remote. I have just gotten in the habit of pushing lock twice so the horn honks now but the LCD + 1,000 ft...
So unfortunately Chevy doesn't offer anything but a set of 16s and 17s for the 3/4 ton suburban since they are 8 lug. I really like the wheels that come on the LTZ a lot. Anyone know of any 20 or 22in wheels that are 8 lug and similar to the LTZ wheels. I have looked but haven't been able to...
So does that mean that there is no way to get the upgraded distance without replacing the already included remote start system in my Suburban with the AP8 unit. Also does that mean I still have the stupid 100ft distance but just have a 2 way remote now. I mean with the remote start in my other...
So I want to get the 2 way remote but I see there is an AP3 and then the AP8 with extended range. First off how do I tell what I have and if I have the AP3 system can I upgrade to the AP8 cause I would love the extended range cause I miss the range of my Viper 2 way in my last vehicle.
I also have this problem when when towing my 24ft carmate trailer with my suburban. It is extremely annoying especially when heading to car show that are 4-7 hours away. for the time being I always take painters tape and tape the entire way around the liftglass. This has stopped the problem...
I know exactly what you are talking about. The harness bar prevents that from some extent though cause the bar keeps the harness at the correct angle to minimiz the submarine effect. However if you saw the stock seatbelts are still installed for use. Scroth does not make a anti submarine...
Well been really busy lately and hadn't had time to put together a good post so I figured I would wait till I could so here it is finally.
Here are some pics of how the car sits currently.
Pics of how the car used to look at different times from most recent to oldest...
heck diesel denali or diesel suburban I don't care which is first just something with a diesel in an SUV would be great cause personally not really a pickup fan at all.
yeah the the 3/4 ton with the 6.0 handles the trailer (around 7,500lbs) pretty well other than the poor gas millage going up hills but that was known when choosing a gas tow vehicle over a diesel one. To bad they don't offer the silverado diesel engine in the 3/4 ton as an option cause it would...
Well I have been looking to pickup up a trailer but hadn't had anything to tow with but my dad was looking for a new tahoe and I was able to convince him to upgrade to a 3/4 ton suburban so I could pull my trailer about 7 times a year.
Pics of the combo
