2007 Tahoe w/high miles
My 07 2wd LT3 has 216K miles on it. I bought it new, only use Mobil1 at the oil life interval, new brakes, O2 sensors, 3 sets of tires and shocks. The only issue I ever had was pulsating brakes. I changed over to cross drilled/vented rotors and the problems went away...
2007 LTZ with 125K highway miles. No problems. It still looks and runs great. I've used Mobil 1 since new. I follow the scheduled maintenance requirements to the letter.

Based on my local Bridgestone dealers recommendation, I run 35 psi cold (40 psi when warm), rotate @ 6000 mile intervals and haven''t had any problems. I replaced them with inkind at 80K and could have gone another 15K.
Has anyone out there found a better sun visor for the new Tahoe. Don't know why Chevy eliminated the dual visor configuration as in the 2000 - 2006 models, they were great. Will any of the earlier model visors adapted to the current model?
Thanks
Actually the lubricating properties are unchanged from the 5W 30, according to the tech center. Its reported to increase fuel economy @ 0W viscosity and maintains that economy thru 30 weight when the oil reaches operating temp.
Thanks
Henry
Thanks for your reply. I went ahead and had my oil changed today w/ 0W 30. I'll post any + or - changes I see.
I spent some time researching this issue with Mobil 1 tech center and am courious to see the results, specifically + MPG.
Thanks
Henry
I have used Mobil 1 5 W 30 Syn oil in my 07 tahoe since new. However I,ve found that many oil change shops are having difficulty getting the 5W 30 and are swtiching to Mobil 1 0W 30, a more MPG freindly grade according to Mobil Oil Tech Center. Anyone of you out there chaged to the 0W grade...
Hi, I.m new to the forum.
Does anyone know if the Sylvania Silver Star Ultra H11 low beams are available for 07 Tahoe or recommend a comparable bulb.
Thanks
