Is the part inside a cylinder type shell that covers it? Is it mounted right in front of the spare tire on a cross-member? I'm afraid to take it apart if it's a gas line?
Was the part number you replaced AC Delco part number 214-2142?
That is what I just ordered. I hope I got the right part! LOL! According to my local dealership, they wanted to replace the Evap Solenoid. That has to be it, right?! The part is $30.
I pulled the head unit out and realized that the moron who installed the aftermarket stereo pulled out on of the thermostat control wires in the back of the HVAC dash controls. I plugged it back in and it works like a charm now.
Does anyone know where it's located on my 2008 Chevy Tahoe (5.3L Flex / Eng. Code 0)?
