2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71....
Just hit 245,000 Miles, I bought it with 230,000 miles, in that time, I've done:
New Water Pump
Alternator
Brakes
Maintained Regularly
Factory 5.3 and factory trans, still going along perfect
@Roody,
Service 4WD message means nothing, If you get it, stop the car, turn it off, and turn it back on, it should go away, if it doesn't, then it's an issue, but that's rare
Yeah, i figured it out, by using the penalization button, if you want to know how to get it to beep, just let me know and i'll give you a link to where it shows you how.
On my 2003 Chevy Tahoe, I have A really Bad Catalytic Converter Rattle... You can hear it if you give a little bit of gas... almost just a little bit above idle. Has anyone Encountered this problem? And I'm starting to think it's not the Catalytic Converter... Maybe something else.....?
oh, just looked at the pictures... that's fine it's just on the plastic engine cover, take something like a microfiber rag (if you want to get it dirty) and just wipe it down with no water, dust collects on engine covers all of the time... so it's nothing to worry about
Who Has Ever Walked Out to There Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Whatever and unlocked it and got scared when they saw the reverse Lights on?? Because GM has them go on when it's dark out and you unlock it with your key fob.:whymewhyme: I Want to know who at gm thought that was a good idea, if anyone...
Something that goes out a lot is the oil pressure sensor.... it will read 0 oil pressure and ding at you but it actually has 40-60... just something to keep in mind
Somethings that's been very annoying.... Just recently the doors stopped unlocking when i pulled the key out of the ignition in my 2003 chevy tahoe, it was very convenient for the door locks to do that.... please tell me how to get that feature back!
same problem here.... i had a whine a few years ago, and replaced it, and now a few years later, i still have the noise at idle and inching forward in traffic, help would be appreciated
