Recently put new heaters in drivers seat. I did not check to see if lumbar support was working before disassembly. lumbar seems to be pumped up, But does nothing when I hit button. All wires are connected. Is there a relay or fuse just for this function? Everything other then that works fine on...
Thank you, Thermister wire sounds like it could be a problem. Doubt that it is the fuse since it comes on and gets slightly warm before it shuts off. Will check that wire and post. Thanks again Bob
I have 2004 Yukon and trans fluid is leaking into transfer case...bad seal. So is it usually just the seal or a bad input shaft bushing or bearing on transfer case causing ths seal to go bad? Was thinking about a low mileage used or rebuilt case. Truck has 138k. Any thoughts?? Thanks
Called a gmc dealer and they would not give me a part #. Maybe I have to buy a Ford next truck!!! Anyway took part to my local auto parts and he was able to cross reference with the numbers that were on the part. Seems to be working correct now.
I have it out of my 04 Yukon. There seem to be several online. One vender told me I would have to go to dealer with vin# to get a part # to see which one I need. Is this so??
Can I add a trans temp guage to my 2004 Yukon SLT without changing the entire guage cluster? Last week it pushed a quart of fluid out the vent. I refilled it and no loss of fluid yet. Ran codes and nothing. Think it may have got hot for some reason. Thanks Bob
Tried several times to program new remotes with no success. Want to try jumping ports on scanner connection, But don't know how to ID port 4 and 8. No #s on ports and if I count the port on the bottom seems to be 16??? Does anyone have a numbered pic of ports?? Thanks
Didn't want to force anything. Just had to push in two little black clips, Then wiggle and slide off. Locking ring on 04 does not have a locking tab. Just had to use penatrating oil and pound off with big pin punch
